GWCC/ASU Cep Spring 2017

U.S.A. Arizona

Hi all! I didn't see any spring 2017 GWCC threads so I decided to start one! Who else is attending GWCC in spring 2017??

I'm so excited! Is anyone else still waiting for the email from the Maricopa nursing district office?

If anyone reading this has been through this process already, can you please give a little heads up on what to expect? How is GWCC? Etc.

Thanks! :)

I am about to start block 2 at GWCC in the UIU CEP. A lot of what you'll be doing right now is waiting. I know, it sucks because you want to know everything right away! At least I felt this way. How it worked for me was I got accepted late June, got an email from an advisor at GWCC asking me if I wanted traditional or evening (I'm evening), and then nothing until October really. That's when a lot of the health and safety documents got sent out. It wasn't until late November that the book list, schedule, etc were emailed to me by the instructors. We had orientation about a week before block 1 started. The program at Gateway is great! Since they have more health science programs than the other colleges, they have a lot of newer equipment. The teachers I had were absolutely wonderful! They really wanted everyone to succeed. Just make sure you buy yourself a nice planner and write every due date down and plan time to study. Good luck!

Thank you for a heads up! Yes, I want to know all the details now! Haha I can't wait to start. That's awesome. I hope I have those instructors next semester. :)
