Dignity Health New Grad Hiring Process

U.S.A. Arizona

Hey,

I have an interview next week for a new grad position with Dignity Health Chandler-Regional. Even if I don't get the job I am excited to even get a chance to interview.

Anyway, anyone here know how long the hiring process is for Dignity Health new grad cohorts? I already took the math test and answered some interview style questions through email. I now have a panel interview set next week with 3 managers and the new grad trainer/manager I believe. How many round of interviews does Difnity Health home before deciding or is it a one and done?

I'm just curious if I should be waiting to hear about a job or preparing for a possible second interview after the first.

Thanks to to anyone who may have answers.

Hey guys! I just got offered an interview in a couple days for Chandler Regional! Does anyone have any advice for me? I was offered a new grad position at Banner last week but wanted to interview with Dignity Health too. Does anyone know how long it took them to notify you if you got the job or not? I don't want to risk giving up my spot at Banner if I don't get this position.

The interview is very straightforward. Its a panel interview with 4-6 people. They ask a lot of scenario based questions and want to here about how you affected patient care in clinical and how you would make a great fit. They were all very nice in my interview a few months back and very welcoming. I was called within a week of my interview to let me know I wasn't hired. Depending on how far into the interview process they are after your interview, I would gather the turn around is pretty quick. You can ask them when to expect to be notified if offered or not.

The residency program sounds great if you can get an offer. Good luck!

Thank you so much for all the information!!!

Hello Everyone! Sorry to bump this thread, but I just applied for the March 2017 Dignity Health Care - Bakersfield RN Residency and was wondering if anyone knows where the required online math test is located? I was not sent a link after filling out my application nor did I find the test anywhere on the application. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A recruiter will email you the math test if they want to move forward with an interview. Or at least I believe that was how t was when I applied.

@mrsboots87 Thank you so much!!

Does anyone happen to know if being emailed the math test by a recruiter guarantees an interview? I applied for a Dignity Health position at a different hospital and received the test but it's been two weeks since and have not been contacted about a schedule for an interview.

Were you offered a position? If so, we might end up co-workers! I was offered NICU at both Memorial and Mercy Southwest, and accepted Mercy SW.

It does not. Just about everyone will get mailed the math test and pending the results of that plus your resume all together, the recruiter will email you interview questions to answer. From there, they offer may offer a formal interview. Then they either offer the job or have a second interview.

i know its a year later, but i just graduated and im about to take my boards next week. i went for an interview 2 weeks ago and they had said that they would contact me in a week but they never did and i called to follow up and they didnt answer and didnt call me back after i left a message. im not sure if they are going to hire me or not. i thought they would atleast give me a call and tell me "hey u suck" lol that would be better than not hearing from them at all. so my question to you is, when they called you to tell you that you hadn't got the job, did they give you a reason why? or just sorry you werent hired. again i know it is a year later lol, but i would really appreciate your response. Thankyou.

Hello! I was wondering if Dignity posts a specific application for new grads? I had called HR to ask since the website only talks about their new grad program but didn't give any other information besides that. Can you apply before your graduation, or do they want you to have your license (or testing date) already? Thank you in advance!!

Dignity both has a new grad residency program as well as hires new grads into regular positions. The positions allowing for new grads will state experience preferred the ines that don't take new grads will say experience required andlist what experience is required.

And yes, they call and let me know I did not get the job. So I would venture to guess you should expect a call either way. It's possible you were an alternate if their first round picks don't accept the offers and that can delay calling you.
