Anyone starting the Sept. 4th session at Chamberlain in Phoenix, AZ?

HELLO! I just joined this site because I got accepted into Chamberlain's BSN program. I start on Sept. 4th and was wondering if anyone else out there is starting with me? I would also appreciate feedback about the program from other fellow students at the Phoenix Chamberlain campus. I am a little frustrated because I STILL do not have my schedule and I am an ER tech and would like to put in my avalibility for Sept. at work!

Maybe they are doing it alphabetically? Both my first and last name is at the beginning of the alphabet. I am not pleased with my schedule this semester. Thank goodness its only 8 weeks. It's nothing that we had planned and I didn't even get one science class!

Great.... they made it sound like I was going to have math, chemistry, and some nursing class online. Oh boy I am not liking this so far.

They told me that I was suppose to do the entry to nursing class, anatomy, and economics. I got the entry class, psych, and sociology. I've noticed that if you are taking prereqs online they don't make you buy the book, its included electronically. So the only books I have to buy is for the intro to nursing class.

Congrats on being accepted for september, everyone! Does anyone mind posting their schedule so some of us hoping to apply get an idea of what may be to come?

All my classes are online this session so I wouldn't be too helpful when it comes to an actual schedule. Hopefuuly someone else can chime in!

Thanks! Have you had any pre req credits transfer, or are you just starting with everything?

I actually had several classes transfer in. Just general ed classes though. I also had several general ed classes that didn't meet their standards that I have to retake.

What is your schedule like? Dang I did mine the 7th you think I would have mine by now too!

Hi KMalanowski!

How was your first term? I think it went by super quick. Do you have your schedule for next term? What classes are you taking?

Hello I am thinking about the BSN program at Chamberlain. I just wanted to ask the people on this thread how there classes are going so far, and do you think it is worth the cost? Thank you!

Hi Jxngirl

I got your second PM reply but it won't let me respond via PM as it says that I haven't posted enough posts. Tuition wise, I'm not sure. It's $700 per credit plus all the additional semester fees and books. You also have your startup costs such as your application fee, your drug/background fee, and all the costs of everything to become clinical compliant. My first term which started in Sept and goes until Sun cost me over $4500 for tuition alone. As for prereqs, just be aware that just because you have prereqs from another school, doesn't mean they will accept them. I have several prereqs that didn't transfer over because they didn't meet their requirements and I have to retake them. Your best bet would be to contact an advisor. You can bring in your transcripts and they can tell you what they think will transfer over and give you an estimate of what school is going to cost you before you make any final decisions. Hope that helps.
