I know quite a few of us are waiting on letters. I'm asking that when you receive a letter, you post it & put "who" the letter is from. You don't need to put whether you were accepted or not, I'm just interested to know when everyone gets theirs!!!!

I did not get into the accelerated BSN program. I did get into the regular 19 month program at the Baldwin campus. My preferred campus was Spring Hill. I am disappointed but at the same time happy I got into to nursing school. Baldwin county is going to be a 40 minute drive each way for me since I live in Mobile.
I spoke to the staff today and they said the GPAs this year were the highest they had seen. I had a 3.6 GPA in the prereqs with a 4.0 in all of the sciences. English grades and a statistic grade from 20 years ago dropped my GPA down to 3.6.
Good luck to the rest of you waiting on letters!

I just got my letter back from Shelton State's LPN program on monday. I had applied to the ADN program and didn't get accepted, but I did get into the LPN program. Orientation is on friday so I'm really excited. Anybody else get accepted to Shelton's program? Congrats to everybody who got into nursing school!!
Jacksonville's letter arrived on June 15th (Saturday)--I got a YES!

Got a yes at Bishop and Faulkner, but I want to apply at USA for the accelerated BSN program in Spring.
BTW, I have question for the accelerate applicants at USA, do you have to have a prior BA/BS to apply? I heard conflicting stories on that. The nursing advisor I spoke with spoke nothing of the required degree, but Martha Surline told me I had to have one. Anyone here know what the real scoop is? Because this clearly would have a impact on my decision since I don't have prior BA/BS degree.

Please, if you get an acceptance letter and decide not to attend that particular school, don't forget to notify the school that you are declining. Most schools have x slots and if you were accepted and don't tell the school that you aren't going to attend, they're holding that slot for you. Your seat in the class could go to a wait listed person if you just notify the school. I realize these were the fall letters, but this information is still applicable to the spring letter that should be going out/being received.
