Uk nurse wants to seek job in New york as a nurse

Hello i am a qualified nurse for the past 4 years, in Diploma awaiting my Degree, am planning on looking work in New york, whats the best way of going about this please advice if you can i would be very greatfull.

Things to be aware of. Your transcripts are required to have clinical and theory hours in Paeds, Mental Health, Obtetrics and Adult. You have to meet US state requirements to sit NCLEX and then find employer willing to wait the 6+ years for a immigration visa. Work visa is a minimum of BSN. Suggest you read up on retrogression and also look at the state forum under the US tab above and see that many US nurses are already struggling in NY to fid jobs
