Studying or working as a nurse in Reno Nevada

Hello , I am saudi Registered nurse with a diploma degree. My GPA 4.99. I graduated in 2007 from a private nursing school. I am thinking of either continuing my studying or working in Reno nevada so i want some advices on where to continue my studying there and how much would be the cost of each Semester? Will they accept my certificate and allow me to earn bachelors degree? Will there be any exams for accepting me?About working as a nurse, what will be the procedure i have to follow and will they accept my diploma degree? Please provide me with the details.Thank you

I will tell you, however, that you absolutely cannot work as a nurse in the United States unless you have passed the national licensing exam, the NCLEX-RN. You would need this before being able to work, and it would be required if you wished to continue your education (if it's an RN bridge program) as well.

I think a lot do their ADN to BSN online these days so you may struggle a bit to find a school that meets F1 criteria and is full time for you to do your RN to BSN. Also fees are expensive as a International student and you have to show proof of funds especially for the first year that you can support yourself whilst studying. only once in the US at school can you apply for permission to work whilst on F1 and there are limitations on how much and where you can work again especially in the first year.

As mentioned you will be required to have a state license as a RN and doing BSN in the US is no guarantee you can stay and work afterwards. Be aware also on retrogression and the long long wait for a immigrant visa
