Quebec integration program for nurses

World Immigration

Hi!

I just want to know how to start with the papers. I have received my kit already ( these are the forms that were sent by the Order from Quebec) but I am not sure on WHOM or WHERE should I send this??? I am at haste on whether I am going to fill it up already because I might make errors and I do not have extra copies for these.

There were no clear instructions on what to do and I did not go under an agency so basically im so CLUELESS..

CAN ANYONE, WITH GOOD HEART, HELP ME WITH THIS ONE??? Any information will sincerely be appreciated.

Thanks a Lot and More Power to Everyone!!!

Regards,

RemNant^__^

Students have been protesting for months now here in Montreal due to the proposed increase to tuition fees. If you guys have the experience then you should've applied as skilled workers so that you'd already be immigrants when you land here in Quebec and you won't have to raise that amount of money.

@yoopian

Thank you for that information. I think that the nursing schools (if I'm not mistaken) are taking advantage of the rising number of applicants which is the reason for the tuition fee increase. I am hoping that this would urge a large number applicants to back out so that the governing bodies would be forced to lower down the fees.

No, taxpayers are getting tired of subsidizing the education system. Quebec has the lowest tutition rates in Canada. The rest of the country just feels it's time that the tuition rates there reflect reality.

but the process i believe is a lengthy one :(

Let's see. Student visa application process (CAQ) + Permanent resident application after a year in Quebec(CSQ + Canadian PR) would take you at least 3 years vs. Permanent resident application in BIQ-HK and Canadian Embassy Manila that would take about a year. Yeah, I'd take PR application in the Philippines anytime.

hello.

can i ask you some questions regarding quebec?i hope you could help me here..

im a nurse in the philippines and plans to undergo in quebec skilled worker program. is it wise for me to process it this month or in september eventhough the

freezing application is until march 2013? i heard about this that skilled worker application is until march 2013 only.

i would also love to know if taking french exams is difficult?

is it true that once you landed in quebec, you are officially in immigrant status? and you can now move to another state like manitoba?

sorry for the questions..i just need some assurance about this since it is not easy to apply if youre in doubts.hehe

big thanks!

No, the act of landing in Quebec absolutely does not qualify you as an immigrant. Well, if you stay without permission, you are an ILLEGAL immigrant I suppose. You need to apply to live and work there like you would anywhere else. I would also recommend taking French classes before you attempt to move. The Office de la Langue Francaise is pretty intense, and your chances of being approved if you have NO French skills at all are lower.

And to be perfectly honest, French is a pretty hard language to learn. The grammar makes no sense, and I say this as a native French speaker. But if you are determined, it's certainly possible.

Seriously sounds like you are trying to work the system by using Quebec as a backdoor to where you really want to be.

Wait, who's the genius who told you this? That makes no sense whatsoever. Basically, anyone who lands in Quebec is an immigrant? Doing a squint eyed head tilt to figure out how this makes sense.
