hey guys! has anyone hear of PINOYCARE VISA CENTER? or who applied their services? I recently attended their orientation seminar here in davao city and they said that the CIC would shell out immigrant visas for nurses for as early as 9 months, is this true?

a friend of mine who have already applied for pinoycare told me that the points system is not really that strict irregardless of age bracket?? it is only for those ages 27+ who needs to have a 67 points. lets take for example you only have 63 points and your experience is only a year of volunteer. am i qualified? pls guide me.. tnx

points are irrelevant if you meet other requirements for pr as laid out on the cic website, age doesn't come into it. i did the quick check to see if eligible and based it on not waiting for canadian employer or studied in canada and it never asked me for my age and said i qualified based on what i answered

experience must be paid and 12 moths full time

for your application to be eligible for processing, you must:

* include the results of your official language proficiency test, and

* have a valid offer of arranged employment, or

* have one year of continuous full-time paid work experience in at least one of the occupations listed here.

instead of listening to a friend it is better to check out the cic website because they are the ones that makes the ultimate decision on whether to accept your application and it must meet their requirements

ok... tnx @silverdragon, now i know! how come pinoycare have said that?? thanks to u silverdragon for your words of wisdom.. ")

hello, is it true that immigration will approve only 100 applicants out of their 500 quota? :(

@silverdragon: what's your suggestion? for us who are undecided yet.. tnx

If Canada is your dream, do not give up on it but make yourself more work experienced and open to the province. Canada is a huge place so look at what you want out of your move to a new country. Spend lots of time researching both the province and immigration requirements (like CIC website) and not rely on hearsay.

Certainly ask questions just remember people's experiences vary. If you are lucky to find a employer willing to go the immigration route then up to now your application is not included in the cap for PR, so making yourself more marketable is good just be prepared for the hard haul and time. Prepare yourself as much as possible and save money. Starting a new life is not cheap, been there and done it, but I have no regrets what so ever in moving to Canada.

So again if Canada is your dream, be prepared, research well and do not give up, just be prepared on the time it may take

@ silverdragon102: I have read some blogs from the internet. Correct me if I'm wrong...

rn are capped at 500 so applications submitted once the 500 has been accepted and you have no job offer with application means application will not be accepted and returned to sender.

a maximum of 500 federal skilled worker applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing each year.

these limits do not apply to applications with an offer of arranged employment.

Looking at the current cap for RN 78 applications have already been accepted since beginning of July so those that wish to apply should do so quickly

@silverdragon102: thanks for the update. :) I have a problem, i have submitted my application this week but my NBI clearance (police clearance) certificate is not updated yet because since july 1, 2011 the NBI has announced the start of its BIOMETRIC CLEARANCE SYSTEM. So in order to have a new updated clearance we have to wait for a month. We have submitted a letter to the immigration explaining all of this. My problem is that if immigration will still accept and consider my application? are they still gonna review it and include me to their 500 quota or they will wait for the new updated NBI clearance? Thank u.
