Omnibus Online-BNE

I am taking classes at Omnibus International College foundation. They are a private school in the Philippines, but have a site in Houston, TX where students can take their clinicals. I know they are not accredited in USA, but they are in the Philippines. In the Philippines they have Practical Nursing (PN), but Omnibus titles it ADN (Associates Degree Nursing) equivalent.

My question is: Is there any way I can verify if my degree from Omnibus will be honored in TX by the BNE (Board of Nurses Examiners) for licensing as a Foreign graduate student? How do I go about making sure that their program is equivalent and acceptable to the Texas licensing board when I apply as a foreign graduate and get an Registered Nursing license, NOT a Licensed Practical Nursing?

FYI people. The owner of Manila Headlines, is involved in some fraudulent activities. He is part owner of a school in the Philippines, the KRC Review Center. Do some research. It's up to you to decide whether or not you would want to rely on information from this person whose credibility is very questionable. The main purpose of a newspaper is to provide readers with truthful news, not subjective, one-sided, and biased writeups.

The school in question is also being investigated over here as well as in the Philippines.

Since this thread has served its purpose, it is being closed. No reason to drag anything more out with it.

The school does not have CHED approval as they stated that they had even on their website, two year programs only get TESDA approval for the ADN. They did not have approval for a two year ADN program, only for the Practical Nurse program. Therefore, they could not offer an on-line program in the first place but they did.

This has nothing to do with the newspaper that it was in, but what is actually going on.
