Hi everyone. I need help regarding visa. What visa should i get if i will be taking bridging program in Australia? Do i still need to get an agent for the visa? Can I apply it on my own? Any suggestions and help regarding the most appropriate visa for bridging will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi! I would like to ask if anyone of you have any idea regarding the required amount of money/showmoney to prepare for student visa lodgement?? Im just a little bit confused because in australian embassy's website it was stated there the 12-months stay expenses that needed to be prepared by applicant however, the bridging course length of study is within 6months only.does it means regardless of the length of your study you should still need to prepare the minimum 12-months stay expenses?? I hope someone can enlighten me with this..thank you

Good day I have some questions I would like to ask.

first I'm about to undergo the iron program in Lonsdale on April 2017. I am now on the process of collecting requirements for visa application.

Question is what type of visa can I apply? They told me that i will apply for the visitor subclass visa.(3 months) The iron program is 3 months. I want to consider that after my bridging I need to have ample time for the registration.

Is it possible to extend the visa stay? Let's say a month longer?

Is it also possible to combine my experience here in the Phils plus my experience In Australia once I begin working there when I apply for PR? I have 2 years exp here and by the time I commence my bridging in April 2017 I have 2 years and 8 months.

If the course provided by Lonsdale is indeed three months, then visitor subclass 600 is your visa of choice. It is the type of visa which lets you stay in Australia for not more than 3 months per entry depending on the duration of what the consulate gives you. It is also the type of visa that doesn't have any working rights. Thus, the need for sponsorship is essential post BP.

The registration takes about 3-4 days once your school submits the graduation list to AHPRA. I heard from a friend that they filed for an extension post bp and were only given a week. Once your 3 months is up, then you should exit the country and return back if needed.

ANMAC is responsible for assessing your credentials and determine your suitability for migration. You submit your credentials to them including your work experience, references and previous registrations. They then send you an invitation to apply through DIBP should you qualify.

Just found this forum, great information. Thanks everybody.

I am a paediatric intensive care nurse from Europe. Finished my bridging course last November and was granted AHPRA registration just end of 2016 ;)

I am now looking for jobs and an employer to sponsor me on a 457 visa.

Something that is not clear to me: Do I also have to undergo an ANMAC skill assessment for a 457 or is this only for permanent visas???

Hi i would like to ask regarding showmoney when applying for student visa. Is it enough that my parents have 500k on their acct to be able to satisfy the consul that they can support me for my bridging course?? Thanks in advance. I hope someone can enlighten me.

Hi to those with experience already with PR application, how many points can we get after completion of the bridging program in the Qualification section of subclass 180/190? Is 10 or 15 points?
