Many students take summer classes; getting prereqs done, fitting an elective in here and there or just wanting to squeeze in another course quickly. However, summers adds the extra variables of the children and sometimes a spouse. How to juggle the kids free time with the needs of your spouse and family and still stay on top of your schoolwork? Do you hire a neighborhood teen to take the kids to the pool for a few hrs so you can study? Do you send them to summer camp? Or do you try to take your books or iPad to the pool or park with you?

Hmmm....I haven't really thought about this too much. I still work so I'll be reviewing this past year during my breaks and when my SO goes to work in the AM (after she switches back from PM shift -- most of my studying has occured at night). I don't have classes this summer so any studying I do will be review and prepping for the year that will be potentially dooming me (peds and OB/GYN). Otherwise, everything else will be part of a nicer, easier flow and I will enjoy it immensely. :)
