I am attending Galen San Antonio currently, I have been an LVN for seven years and I am in my 3rd quarter. I would not recommend attending this school. The staff turnover is almost humiliating, the clinical sites are not beneficial to a learning individual at all whatsoever, students are forbidden to review their own tests (which impairs the learning process tremendously) the staff claim to "always be there" when needed, this is only true with very few staff members (that I can count on one hand). It's rare to even get a response to an email from the majority of instructors. Now, let's talk about money, because that's all this school is interested in, not your future. 30k to answer call lights and hand out iced water, 30k to be denied the help you need and very well deserve by lethargic instructors, 30k to be left in the dark on what you missed on an exam, when EXAMS are the majority of final grade, if not the only grade. Just so this same team of exhausted instructors don't have to re-created a new test each quarter. I am obviously beyond frustrated with the lack of integrity of this school and would like for the truth to be heard. What are your thoughts on this nursing program?
