I'm very concern now about "Second Courser Nursing Student" (a type of student already have a college degree enrolled again to get a BSN degree). An issue in nursing education that i would like know if this trend would have a significant effect on our health care delivery system or in the educational system or in our nursing practice? What do you think? Your opinion could make us (nurses, educators school administrators, lawmakers) aware.

I don't fully understand your post, ricealliv. Could you elaborate further? Are you saying that the rush for all professionals in the Philippines (even MD's) to get into nursing school is having a drastic and terrible effect on your society? Or, are you asking if the second-career student is as "good" as the traditional nursing student?

This is about the new type of nursing student emerging in Philippines' school where in a degre holder gt enrolled in nursing course (taking up BSN) such as Medicine, Education. Mr. ricealliv just want to know how these students could affect the Nursing Education System? Is there any NORMS that we have to focus our attention as a student, as an educator, as an administrator? Personally speaking, I do believe that there be either negative or positive influence/effect these could give in our nursing education system.
