I've been on this website numerous time just to learn about the NCLEX exam especially after I failed TWICE. After I passed on my 3rd attempt I decided to become a member and motivate those who feel like giving up.
I graduated in 12/2014, I took NCLEX-RN 2X and failed both time at 75 questions
I immediately knew there was something that I'm missing because I know my content.
So I went to an NCLEX coach and she immediately figured out that the missing part was CRITICAL THINKING. She had me use DAVIS, a lil bit of NCLEX 3500 by Lippincott and Saunders 6th edition, but mostly KAPLAN Q trainer, and Uworld and also taught me some test taking strategies. Although I felt like I've improved a lot, I kept pushing the date.
After a year, I decided to take it again. I tested on 09/13/16 Boyyyy it's like they haven't seen me for a while and were ready for me.I was the last person to leave at 8 pm. I ran out of time at 257 questions, and when you do, they only count the last 60 qsts and I didn't really focus on the last ones as I did on the previous qsts because I was trying to make it to 265 before time was up. I cried in my car, I thought I failed .That was the hardest test ever, NCLEX bombarded me with bunch of EKGs, putting in order, Infection control, priority, floating nurse, SATA. I passed on my 3RD ATTEMPT. As of today I'm a registered nurse. That was a miracle. I prayed so much, before and throughout the test. God came to my rescue. If you're a believer, PUT GOD FIRST!!
PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!. DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM!, KEEP PUSHING! YOU CAN DO IT!
FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS such as
( CONTENT, CRITICAL THINKING, ANXIETY) and work on it. Critical thinking is KEY.
PEARSON VUE TRICK DIDN'T WORK FOR ME. STILL ASKING ME FOR MY CREDIT CARD INFO AFTER GETTING MY QUICK RESULT.
