York university graduates

I'm starting my 3rd year (collab degree with Georgian-York). I was just wondering if there are any York graduates out there (past couple of years). Did you find that York prepared you well to write your registration exam? Did it take you long to find positions as nurses? Also, I am curious to know if you have put to use all your nursing theory: Watson, Z&P, Porifice (I know York is one of the schools that goes very deep into nursing theory). Do you think it took away from time you could have spent learning more skills? Many people complain that the theory is wasting their time and they should focus more on the skills.

I am pretty on the fence, I'm not so sure how I feel about all the theory as I have not actually practiced as a BScN yet! So I would like to hear your opinions :)
