WV RN License Renewal

It's that time of year to renew our WV RN license.  This year we have a $20 WV Restore fee. This fee goes to impaired nurses or mental health. Why are we forced to pay this when we aren't impaired? According to the board, there is a combined 34,509 RNs and APRNs. With each of us paying $20, which doesn't seem like a lot, is a total of $690,180.  The impaired or mental health suffering nurse should absorb the burden along with their insurance company. Absolutely not fair! I will consider this a taxable contribution. Get your stuff together!
