Hey everyone! I sent in all of the materials to WSCN before April 1st and took the TEAS test on May 6th. Any idea when I should expect a letter? Before taking the test, Mr. Miranda (one of the academic advisors) told us that seats are still open. Did anyone get an acceptance letter yet? THANKS!!!

What's the lowest TEAS score they are accepting into the program? Do you know?

Nevermind.. I see it's 80%

It was 80% last year. The advisor told me they changed it to 68% this year.

WOW really? Did they change it because of the new version of the TEAS being used?

Hey~

I applied for the E/W track for ResU this fall... I received a phone call about two weeks after my application was complete saying I got accepted. I don't know if it was faster because it was still in their priority time period? I would say, follow up with Juan (he was my advisor too!) and he should be able to tell you if you are missing anything or if it is processing. The letter of acceptance took another couple weeks so the phone call was really a relief ;)

Are you applying for the day or E/W program?

Smokey - they did say that it changed because V5 of the TEAS is more difficult so the national average fell.

Good luck :)

@NinjaKitty

Congrats on getting in! I applied last year but I was missing some courses and Mr. Miranda moved my application to Fall 2011. I retook the TEAS test this month and got 80.5%, which is more than the required 68%. (Happy about that one!) I applied to the day program. Fingers crossed!

I got my letter of acceptance last week. The TEAS is harder than last year, thus the change in the lower threshold limit. I am still mulling my decision...

@Manstat Congratulations! Do you mind sharing the overall and science GPA you had? I'm thinking mine is too low to be accepted. :( Thanks!

Science was 4.0. Overall 3.0.

I also got into their Fall 2011 ABSN Program, but had to sadly decline the offer for another school. I like how their faculty and staff communicate with you. They will work with you, they will tell you what you need and if your chances of getting in are high, and adjust things if necessary. They have a good team of advisers plus, a hospital setting, plus an accelerated program. I wish a good start to all incoming juniors!
