If you are a RN, why do you want to be a CNA? I don't think you can do both, at least here in the states, because the RN scope of practice is beyond that of a CNA....(certified nursing assistant?).
Wound care nurses are generally Ostomy and Wound care nurses (check the forum for those folks for better info :)). You don't go to more university classes. Generally, it's experience, plus passing the certification test for the specialty, after working the required amount of time to qualify to sit for the test.
As a RN, you will not be a CNA. Are you talking about a certified nurse anesthetist? Or CRNA? Once you get a nurse anesthetist certification (again, check their forum for more accurate info) you work in the OR/procedures/day surgery suites. But you DO need to do more schooling for that.
And doing both? :) Maybe get some time as a RN under your belt, learn more about the specialties and then decide which you like the best and want to advance in :)
