I’m about to enter my last two semesters before I can apply for the nursing program. That is, if I take college algebra, a&p 2 and microbiology together during the summer. Has anyone done this? Is it doable? I’m self-employed, working from home roughly 20 hours a week and I don’t really have anything else going on in my life other than homeschooling my son. I’d really like to take these together but would first like to hear from others who have taken these classes, preferably together. Thanks!

I took A&P I and micro together in the spring and it was doable, but I worked for the A's. I wish I had taken A&P II with micro because immunity is a heavy part of both so they would have reinforced each other. Taking those two with algebra will feel like five classes because of the labs but if you can study dilligently and consistenly, I don't see why it couldn't be done. Trying to do it during a shorter summer semester might make things tougher. I'd try to take algebra online. Also, making sure you have good professors will make a world of difference; I always use ratemyprofessor.com when picking classes.
Overall, good study habits and attendance took a lot of difficulty out of the work for me. I know that sounds kind of vague, but I feel that's all it would take. Good luck!
