Hi everyone,

I'm a canadian nurse and I just received an offer to work there and I'm still thinking about it.

Does anyone could tell me more about his/her experience with National Guard Hospital in Saudi Arabia? Do they offer better conditions and benefits compared to civil governmental Hospital like King Faisal Hosp. in Jeddah ? What about National Guard Hosp.'s compounds ?

How is life in Medina ?

Many thanks

Hi Ms. Sarrah,I am Marriam. I'm a Filipina. I've worked in madinah last year but i've never heard that PMBAH is already operational. I really want to work there because madinah is very safe place. It has a very low crime rate and the people have a conservative way of living. If u are a muslim i would suggest that you accept the job in madinah but if not try to find another place. Non muslim are not allowed to enter most places that is within or in proximity to Haram area which includes banks, shopping centers and and even roads due to its historical/religious significance. I have a colleague who is a christian wanted to go to this particular bank. She rode on a cab and the driver didnt know that she is a non muslim and drove her to the bank by passing thru the haram area. She's so afraid because she's thinking what if one police would check her iqama. But of course they are not doing that on a regular basis. She is just a little bit paranoid. What I'm saying is that the places that you can go to are limited and it is a big deal because you will work there for year or more. I believe that they have a good compound and the housing accomodations are new. But regarding to compensation i think king faisal has a better offer. And since im a muslim i would choose ngha- madinah than king faisal due to its proximity to masjid Al Nabawi.

Dear Marriam, salam alaykom,

yes, i'm muslim, that's why I'm seriously interested to work in Medina. Finnally, I rejected the offer to work in Medina at Prince Mohamed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital because simply the agency was not really clear. They said I have to pass orientetion period at national guard hospital of Riadh and after a while, I'll be transfered to Prince Mohamed Hospital. I found it really strange. How come they are proposing offer when the hospital is not open yet. Are u currently working in KSA ?

i think they want to force persons to work in Riadh because nobody is interested to go there . Probably because this town is very strict. Am i right ?

Have u heard when PMBAH will be operationnal ?

REGARDS
