I'm a full-time nursing student and full-time mom to toddler twins. I'm not working a paid job right now, but I'm still putting in 16+ hour days between school, kids, and household survival. The emotional and mental load? Off the charts.
Lately I've been thinking about how much of the advice out there for "nursing moms" is completely disconnected from reality. Like, no — I don't need a face mask or a gratitude journal. I need systems, support, and actual solutions.
So I'm putting together a piece (maybe for publication) about what moms in nursing school really need.
Here's what I want to hear from YOU:
What's saving your sanity right now?
What's the worst advice you've heard?
What's one thing you wish nursing schools or instructors understood about student parents?
Any life-saving, time-saving hacks or tools I should know about?
Let's talk about what's real and maybe build a thread that actually helps someone!
