I was just curious if there was anyone out there that picked up a couple of shifts while in CRNA school? Anyone work full time? If so, did you feel it was a bad decision? Was your program front loaded?

I am working 24 hours/week while in my first year of a front loaded anesthesia program at Northeastern University. There is a couple of people in my class working full time during the first 8 months of the program, but only because they completed 12 credits of classes before being accepted into the program, thus giving them the time. It is also necessary to point out that my program was recently changed to a 32 month program (previously 27) to allow students the time t work during the first year. In most 27 month programs, I have heard it is too difficult to work at all. None of us in my class plan to work when clinicals begin in the fall.
