To those adventurous nurses who want to get into international nursing, it is possible to work overseas and get paid for it. I work at Commonwealth Health Center in Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands. There is a picture of the hospital on the Saipan wikipedia page. The hospital is currently recruiting nurses and midwives and provides round trip travel, a modest salary, and housing allowance. You will not get rich but you will get alot of experience with multiple cultures and sometimes limited resources. They will want a two year commitment and you should have some experience. If you want more information you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can't tell you much about other units but I can tell you about L&D where I work.
