Women's Health NP Salary?

Published

Hello, I'm in a dual degree BSN-MSN program for women's health. I'm trying to figure out what salary I can expect when I graduate. I'm looking at different jobs in the Los Angeles area but honestly I'm willing to move wherever for a job. I saw some statistics saying that in LA to expect $100,000- $110,000 but that seems low considering the cost of living and since nurses can make like $90,000. Would anyone mind sharing their salary as a WHNP and what state and city they live in? Thank you!

Go to government jobs and look at the salary for NPs.  County jobs pay the highest.  They give you a good idea of what the market pays in that area.  NPs make a lot more than RNs.  An entry level RN makes as much as a 5 yr level 4 nurse and a 20 year level 2 nurse.  After 5 years as an NP, you’ll make as much as a lvl 3 charge nurse whose been doing it for 31 years.
