Wolfsons Children’s (Jacksonville, FL)

Nurses New Nurse

Published

Hi everyone,

I am a new grad relocating to Jacksonville. I just applied and got an interview for the Wolfson’s ED for their nurse residency program.

if you’ve interviewed with Wolfsons can you share questions that were asked? Anything I should prepare for the interview?

if anyone applied for this cohort it’d be great to keep in touch and see how everyone is moving through the process.

Hello can you please provide an update on the residency program, did you get hired on? How was the process I’m a new grad waiting to take my boards and considering a residency program

I did get hired on! Thanks for asking. I just started the residency three days ago so I can’t speak a whole lot to it.

after relocating to Jax I can’t tell you how many people have commented that I’m in a. Much better hospital system compared to the alternatives, mainly HCA. The process to get hired was smooth, and quick once the interview happened. I’m assuming you know, but they are currently hiring for the July cohort.

if you have any specific questions I can answer, let me know.

Thanks for the feedback…. I’m an LPN currently waiting on my paperwork to get processed so I can sit for boards for RN… do you think it is best to apply now or wait until I pass my boards?? How many interviews did you have to go through? And also how is the pay as residency nurse and do you get raises after you complete residency so forth? This is through the Baptist residency right?

Hi, I actually applied for the July cohort a few days ago, and my top preference is ED. I will be graduating in May. What did the timeline look like for you once you applied and how long did it take you to hear something back?
