WKU BSN

Hey WKU students!!!

I'm going to be applying to the BSN program at WKU for next fall, and I was wondering if anyone knew what the averge GPA was of those who have been in admitted in previous years?? I know it is competitive, but I was just wondering where I fall compared to others who have gotten in. Right now, I have a 3.7, which should go up a little after this Dec. I'm just pretty worried about it because the other day I was talking to a friend, who said she didn't get in for this Spring and she says she has 3.8! And she said she done great in her sciences as well. Now, I'm completely freakin out! lol

please get back to me!! Any information is better than none! :)

Thanks for ur time, ya'll!!

It varies from semester to semester. In general, the overall GPA of WKU BS nursing students over the past two years has been 3.6, but that is the average. Some are higher, some lower. Also, GPA is only 1/3 of the admissions score, with science GPA and the interview counting as the other 2/3rds of the score. For details, get an appointment with the program coordinator or the director of the WKU School of Nursing.
