WKU BSN Spring 2021

Published

Hi everyone!

I just applied for Western Kentucky University BSN program for Spring 2021. I was wondering if anyone else here applied and if so, what were your stats like?

I have an overall 3.03 GPA and a 3.75 GPA for the sciences.

Hey! I applied to the MEPN program for Spring 2021. I believe it's pretty much the same in terms of admission, besides the fact that you need more prerequisites for the BSN program.

I have a Bachelor of Science from FAU with a pretty low GPA (3.0 pushing 3.1 if rounded). I also have a Masters in Health Administration from UCF with a 3.9 GPA. For the prereqs, I have a B in A&P 1, A in Nutrition, and I got a C in A&P 2 the first time around so I'm reenrolled in the class now.

I also took the HESI and got a 91%, not sure if you need the HESI for the BSN program.

I also submitted a LOR from the lead CRNA at mass gen but I don't know if they even read LOR for the MEPN program.

I applied last night so I will let you know when I hear back, hope this helps!

Let me know when you hear back as well, please! Did you apply for the accelerated BSN or the regular? Good luck to you! Hope we both get accepted!

Hey, good luck!! I only applied to the regular BSN program since I don’t have a bachelors. This semester, they’re not requiring us (for BSN) to take the HESI for Spring 2021 admission.

But I hope my GPA isn’t too low for admission.

I’ll for sure to give updates. I’m not sure when letters will be sent.

forgot to mention, usually, Petersons.com is pretty helpful in terms of admission statistics. I couldn't find our programs specifically, but I found one for WKU general degree acceptance and one for WKU nursing (may only include the MSN program).
