I have a questions about the Wisconsin CNA test for denture care. When doing the Skills test for cleaning dentures can you set the dentures on the barrier in the sink so you can put the toothpaste on the toothbrush and rinse the cup?
I took the class almost a year ago and have read that you aren't supposed to put them in the sink. But how can you hold two dentures, and put toothpaste on a toothbrush at the same time.

I was taught to put the toothpaste on the brush FIRST, however, if during the burshing, there is a need to put the denture down (I was also taught to hold one denture at atime, not both)I learned to have a clean paper towel set on the dry sink before starting, not in the sink bowl, but on the surface next to the faucets, there should be enough room. But set the denture on the clean, dry papertowel.
