Hi. Does anyone have any information on new grad positions at Williamson Medical Center? Does anyone currently work there or worked there in the past? How did you like it?

The Nurse Residency Program at Williamson Medical Center is a 2-year program where $12,000 is invested in your education/training. Interviews will be conducted some time in March for Spring 2017 Graduates. Most positions start out as Med/Surg as it builds a good foundation for you. However, you interview with a panel of all the Nursing Directors and they can select people for specialty areas. I would apply now to make sure that you are considered for March interviews. Had a friend get accepted to their program, but declined once he found it was only $18 hr. That was a few years ago though.

Sometimes Nurse Residents are hired at the beginning of Fall. Sometimes they only hire for people to start in January or June. I think one of the great things about working at Williamson are the people. It's a pretty good environment serving a great community. People are supportive and help each other out. A lot of teamwork. It's huge when you love your co-workers.

I completely agree! I'm from out of state but visited the Nashville area a few weeks ago and loved it. It makes your job much more enjoyable when you work with great people and work as a team. Thank you so much for the information.
