Will I get in trouble?

My nurse manager friend gave me an expired Swan. Will I get in trouble if I bring it home/use it for educational purposes on Instagram?

Depends on the hospital management. It's possible that if expired supplies normally go in the bin that no one will care. It is also very possible that an upper management position maybe, the catheter although expired and therefore not suitable for patient use is their property and taking it off hospital property for person use is theft.

If the educational video you plan to make is an educational project primarily for the staff of the unit/ manager/ hospital that paid for the catheter fine, otherwise I would not accept supplies expired or not and I certainly wouldn't post video's of my using the supplies outside of the hospital.

Being accused of theft isn't worth it.
