will i be able to get into the program (kingsborough)

Im in the new start program at kingsborough college and im signed up for the preclinicals as a liberal arts major. I took sociology at my other college which is one of the preclinicals at this college and got a D-. Now my concern is will I be able to to get accepted into the nursing program with that d-. Normally when you transfer and especially in the new start program they just take the credit and not the grade. But i read in the nursing program guide that letter grades in preclinical sequence courses at other colleges wil be used to determine eligibility for admission. Will this apply to me and if it does do i still have a chance of getting in? any help would be appreciated.

You would be better off posting this in a regional forum for the state that you're in, and also meeting with an advisor at the college.
