I am currently finishing my 2nd semester of a 2 year ADN program through my local community college in VA. I am married with 3 kids and plan to work as an ADN while getting my BSN.

In our orientation session at the beginning of our program in August 2016, a spokesperson from Old Dominion University, which uses our school as a satellite location, briefly discussed some options that we would have when attaining our BSN in the future.

I have since then had so many recommendations for different schools I am having a hard time making a decision! WGU, ODU, U of P, and a couple of 4-year local colleges are currently on my radar, but I wanted to get some others opinions/experiences with obtaining a BSN and what recommendations you would have? Do you feel a traditional local college that offers RN-BSN online or an online school like WGU etc is a better fit? They all seem to have similar features, somewhat similar cost, and programs are similar in time requirements. I am guessing its a matter of personal choice? Any advise or pros and cons you can offer would be great!
