CRNA all day long. As a CRNA I can be independent and have destiny over my own practice and career, even start my own company. I would not want to put in that much effort to be someone's assistant (more than that I know but still).
I am very interested in the cardiac system. Do you know if CRNAs are able to specialize in certain surgeries, such as working only cardiac cases?

Just out of curiosity, if you had to opportunity to become a CRNA or a Surgical APNP (first-assist), which would you choose, and why? Why would you choose one over the other?
