Where to start?

I am currently a senior in highschool and I just have realized I want to become a emeregency room nurse. All my life I have known that I want to work in the medical field but now I know exactly what position. My pathway is allied health so I have taken Health team relations, anatomy and physiology, anatomy and physiology honors (online) and now I am taking psychology (online). In my medical classes I have A's (93s and higher) but my gpa is only a 2.7 because I am horrible at math and my freshman year I just didn't really care. Since my gpa is so low I figure my only chance is to go to a community college then transfer to a 4 year school. I am eligible to graduate in january because I'll have all my credits so I am planning on enrolling to a cc in NC. I was going to do a semester in NC and move to CT over the summer and continue with schools there.

I have read that you need to take prerequiste classes, so I wondering if I can take prequiste classes at a CC then apply to 4 year nursing schools in CT?

What happens if I don't get into nursing school?

Can I complete a nursing program at a cc then transfer to get ba at a university?

Also any information or websites you know that can help me figure out what I need to do are greatly appreciated. Thanks
