Where Did You Complete Your CNA Course?

It seems like all of the nursing programs require you to get your CNA. I looked into it a BCC and it is around $1,000 and a couple of months or something. That seems like a waste of time and money to me, but if I have to do it then I guess I have no choice. I did look into nursing homes that offer them for free (supposedly), however I never received a response back from the multiple facilities I contacted. So where did you get your CNA, and how much and how long? Thanks!

Took it in Shoreline at the Nursing Assistant Training Institute a few years ago. I think the price is about $700ish for about a month (give or take a few days). Overall, it was a good and fast program.

If you get a job after you finish the state pays the home you work at which then pays you the amount you spent on the class-divided up over the course of the year.

I don't live on your side of the state, so have no info for you. I had to place lots of calls, send lots of emails and do lots of net search to finally find a "school" to take my cna. None of the homes in the area were doing one when I wanted it, but there is just one school that only does that in the area and run courses continuously.
