I'll be graduating with my BSN in dec and am in Virginia right now. I want to move to Boston and am trying to figure out the best place to find a job there. I reaaaaaaally don't want med-surg (please spare me the lecture about how i should go into med-surg as a new grad); i'm much rather ED since I want to go into trauma eventually; i also want to go back to school in about a year for my MSN (FNP) so I could work in a clinic if i want (not crazy about hospital schedules)... I have a feeling if i stay here in NoVA i could probably find a job in the ED but I want to go to Boston.Any advice for the best places to apply that would be most likely to hire a new grad?
How far in advance should I start applying?
Does anyone know of any bridge programs in critical care or trauma (kinda like the one at Washington Hospital Center in DC)?
Thanks!
BSN or MSN u need a year if exp. Now, that is the new trend. If u work ad an aide u wilbe hired immediately. Stay where u are and do your year
