Yes, I think it is. They want you to have experience (training program counts) and be certified. BUT, and this is a BIG BUT you can and should network. Meet as many managers and other people in your field that you can and just share your plans. It's also a great idea to get anyone's business card. They all have those. Recruiters are good to know too.

Hi Everyone,
I'll be starting my CNA program in June and completing it in August. When would be the appropriate time to start applying for jobs? There are about 10 positions open at my local hospital right now, is it too early to submit a resume??
