Hello, I hope someone can help me because I'm completely lost.. I have recently graduated with my accociate in allied health from a CC hoping to be able to start the BSN program in fall 2014.. however, I slowly finding that this dream is not going to happen this soon.. My overall GPA is 3.40 and science classes is 2.4, apparently nursing schools require 3.0 or higher to qualify so in order for me to get a 3.0 GPA, I need to retake at least one of my science classes and get an A. I was applying to CSUeastbay and they only accept applications once a year so I have to reapply for fall 2015 and see what happens. Meanwhile I'm trying to see if I could do an alternative road that will maximize my chances of getting in. So my question is will it be better for me if I get an ADN from a CC? will that help me to eventually have a better chance into BSN program? I know that if I get an ADN I'll only need three semesters to complete BSN.. Maybe I could even apply for an RN? please inlight me to any other way that I'm not aware of! Please, any advice will highly be appreciated. It took me 4 years to finish my allied health degree and I've been dreaming about becoming a nurse since I ever remember.. I feel my dream is slowly crashing infront of me, please help..
