What is wrong with parents?

Believe me when I tell you that I have not seen other students with the same complaint as your kid! I am not trying to hide anything, and I don't care if "that's not what you heard." Because that's not what I did. Believe me that I'm not trying to cover up if the school is making your kid sick. If the school has something wrong with it, I don't want to be here either! If there are multiple kids exhibiting the same issues, they should come to me, and please tell your kid to tell them to actually come to me!

But no, I am not lying when I said I didn't see them. And... and... if I did see them, I couldn't tell you anyway because you're not their parent or guardian!

People... seriously!

I think this must be related to the general craziness that's going on everywhere at this point.

Days my friend...days

It a big school nurse conspiracy. That's how we keep our jobs...bring all the sick kids in and let them fester.

A mom has sent her LD to school every day this week with a fever. And every day I have to send her home. Mom hung up on me today when I told her she needed to come pick the kid up. Not my fault lady!

Just a thought. Does your school have the 24 hour fever free rule? Not that it is always (rarely) followed by parents. But, at least is a very nice conversation starter.

Mods, please do not place this post on FB. We need to vent without the finger wagging.

I mean, you know I love the fun that comes with that, but... C'mon now!

We do, and she is told the policy every day. And every day she sends her in. Oh, but yesterday she gave her Tylenol before sending her...Tylenol will wear off honey.

What is wrong with parents? Unfortunately, there is absolutely no link between fertility and parental competence. (Although sometimes it does seems that the more horrible wreck of a parent you are, the easier it is for you to make babies...)

"What's wring with parents?"

We could spend the rest of our natural lives trying to figure this out.

What's wrong with me? I'm a parent.
