i am not sure wht the national average is i am applying to chatt tech to and when i spoke to a some there they said that last year the lowest score was and 84 and the highest was a 98. they also said that they expect a ten point drop this year so i presume that between 88-74. But thats just a guess all you can do is anxiously wait. I take my test in july and am super nervous also abour acceptance.

Thanks JPatel. I will take the TEAS for the second time August 5. Are you using the study manual for TEAS V? If not, I highly suggest doing so. Good luck in July, will this be your first take? Let me know how you do.
yeah i am using the study manual to study i take it on the 15 and i am really nervous about it. the science section is what worries me the most no matter how hard i try i can only make 60 on that section i am really scared but this will be my first time taking it and i wish i would have know that they take two scores if i woul have know then i would have taken it earlier so i could take it again,
@jpatel:
Yeah the science is a killer. I scored 84% over all, first attempt. I'm applying to Chatt Tech too, but the LPN program. I got 100% in reading, a 94 in math but only a 67 in science. The adviser said that that was one of the better scores he had seen for the Teas V, so I think my chances are pretty good for entry in the fall. Thing is, I felt really prepared for the science going in and was shocked that it was so difficult, but I think almost everybody struggles with the science. To me atleast in the science section, the test was more difficult than the study guide. I would work hard to really do well on the other sections and it will pull up a low science score. It worked for me. Good Luck!!
thanks for posting but i am really struggling here i cann't seem to manage to get anything higher then border line 80 on the practice test in the all the sections and in science i cant score higher then a 67 im really worried i take the test in 3 weeks and feel like i have already lost. I am just praying about it i really want to get into my program !!!

Hi,
I was wondering if you have received your acceptance for the fall LPN program at Chattahoochee Tech? That was a great TEAS V score. I think you were in the very top percentile.

Hello:
Can somebody please confirm what the national average score for ADN level students on the TEAS is? When asked, the adviser at Chattahoochee Tech responds with a shrug and the non-committal comment, "We don't know what the national average is; you'll have to apply to (the Rn program) find out."
My score is 75%, my assessment states the National mean(average) is 63.3% and the Program mean(average) is 64.7%. Since 75% is greater than 63.3% and 64.7%, can I safely assume I achieved the minimum of the published national average score for ADN level students on the TEAS? Thank you, Cathy
