What is your take on clinic vs bedside?

Recently moved and have not obtained a bedside job yet. I liked working in hospitals my first 8 months as a nurse but moved due to military spouse reasons. Those I know who work  bedside describe the clinic nurse almost as inferior, because there's not a whole lot of bedside skills or other action. I've been working PRN in clinics for the past 7 months and considering taking a permanent position.  If I decided to return to bedside in the future, will clinic experience create a barrier to getting back into hospitals? Just curious.
