Hopefully this will ease your mind,
Right now Im taking a review course of the nclex and I just graduated at the end of february. Our teacher said she wanted to see us get 50 or above increasing to 70, 75 Ive been getting the highest in my class and on my first try I got a 56% now I have a 66 so don't worry just study and remember pharmacology, OB, Med surge and you should be fine, it's all nursing interventions. Be confident you can do it!
thanks for the advice and supportive words. i guess it's just down to 11 days for me, and i am worried. as much as i try not to be, i think everyone goes through what i am going through.
i have been working at a local hospital as a gpn and i have learned so much, and i know i make a good nurse, i just want to pass the boards and get that behind me. :sofahider
i will keep you all posted....please say a little prayer for me.
hi patty, i studied Delmar, Mosby's and NCLEX online review and i had the same problem was getting 56%, 65%, etc. on some of the practice tests (even got a 46% on one) and i was freaked out. because the books say you need to get 80%. and on top of it i graduated as an A student from nursing school. don't worry though, i passed (thank the Lord). they are counting on you getting about 50% of the questions correct on NCLEX. you will do fine. just keep reading the rationales and doing as many questions as you can. review your pharmacology, cultural (got some of those) and know your prioritization. take care.

i feel really flustered.
a friend of mine took the nclex exam in feb, and failed, and i am scared to death of doing the same thing.
so i am just wondering what the normal scores are for these tests??
what are all of you getting when you take them???
thanks for your help.
