What programs can I get into? What can I do to improve my chances?

First off, greetings to everybody on here! I'm new to the site and I figured this was the best place to go for what's on my mind.

I live in Southern California and I've been pursuing nursing for years, since I graduated high school almost 5 years ago. I've had so many setbacks as to why I'm not finished yet. Some were a result of just "life happening" and some were a result of my own immaturity and not taking school as serious as I should have. I beat myself up so much about this because I see some of my peers finishing up and I can't help but feel that I should be up there finishing up a program or that I should've already been done a while ago. But enough of the self-pity. Fast forward to now and I'm completely focused and determined to get this thing done at any cost. I'm almost done with my prerequisites for most programs that I've seen and reviewed. For my science courses I have a B in both Anatomy & Physiology I & II. I have C in Micro (I plan on retaking it this summer to improve my GPA; aiming for an A but if I get a B, I'll be content). And I have a B in Chemistry. For non-science courses I have a B in Sociology. An A in both Intro to Psych and Lifespan Psych. An A in American Politics. B & C in English 1A & 1B respectively. And a C in Intermediate Algebra. If I'm missing any or if any of these seem like they will not be needed, please let me know. I still need to take 1 or 2 humanities courses and a kinesiology class (depending on the program). I know some of you might find all this information unnecessary but I just want to lay it all out there so I can get as much feedback as possible. My questions are: do I have a chance at getting into any programs (ADN or BSN but preferably ADN) with these grades? Is there anyone on here who has been in a similar situation or felt like their grades weren't up to par but were accepted into a program anyway? What things do you guys suggest I do to improve my chances?(whether it be retaking classes, volunteer work, completing some kind of certification). Someone told me that most programs don't really look too deep into the non-science course grades and that their main focus is your science GPA, is that true? All feedback is welcome and appreciated. Thank you guys for reading.

P.S any condescending comments will be ignored. I'm here for feedback and advice on whatever I can do now to reach my goal. If you're going to tell me some "shoulda, woulda, coulda" nonsense, then don't even bother commenting. I tell myself that stuff every day. I know what I could've changed and the only thing for me now is to move forward.
