What is a PICU nurse and a Cath nurse?

I've been snooping the paper for jobs to see what's out there when I graduate. (I've not been seeing many lpn jobs at all, which is scaring the beejeezus out of me!) I do see RN jobs for cath nurses and PICU nurses... what do they do exactly? :rolleyes:

PICU is Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Cardiac cath nurse is just that. The nurse administers meds and monitors a pt during C-port procedures. There are other duties, I'm sure besides C-Port depending on what kind of hospital you're in. This is also a critical care area.
