Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for what other occupations, LPN's can go in to with their education, knowledge & 20 years of experience?
I've been working on some of the prereq's for Excelsior ADN, but I feel let down by them (not much support). I am thinking about maybe getting out of nursing, or does anyone else know of any other online Nursing Programs besides Excelsior? Thanks for any input.

I've looked at the excelsior webpage, and I don't have much faith in them. For one, their webpage is really hard to navigate and since they are an online school, I think its important to have a website full of TONS of information and numerous ways of accessing that information. Second, I live in Illinois and supposedly Illinois doesn't allow excelsior students to take the test for RN. None of the literature and nothing on the website mentioned anything about that. It's almost as if they dupe you into taking their classes and then in the end when you can't get registered, oh well. I have heard of one other online school..it starts with a D...its deaconess or something. I'm not sure if they offer the ADN though like Excelsior. Anyways, best of luck in whatever you choose. I love online courses, I've taken a bunch, but the excelsior college thing makes me nervous. Sometimes its best to stick to the traditional method if at all possible.
