What to make of this? (X posted)

I applied for a PCT position at a local hospital. I'm pre-nursing, and start nursing this fall. I was given the number of the recruiter by a nurse recruiter. I called the lady today, and we talked for a few minutes, and she pulled up my resume, and asked what shift I want, if I would work weekends, and when my classes are. She also asked which units I'm interested in. She told me to call after I apply for any other positions there, and she will get it pulled up. She asked if I applied to any jobs recently, and I said yes, the CICU. Now, I checked the status of the job right before I called her, and it was OPEN. I checked back right after I got off the phone, and it said CLOSED. I don't know what to make of that. Surely she would have told me if it had been filled... Any thoughts if this is good or not? Just a fluke?
