What kind of job can I get if...

[sweeetRN, BSN, RN]

I am a Nursing Student who will be done with my BSN in a month and was wondering if anyone could give me some input on what kind of jobs I can work for with my Nursing background while waiting to sit for the Boards?

I've looked into caregiver, nursing assistant, and nursing aide positions but it's hard to get someone from a hospital to call you when you haven't really had any paid clinical experience besides nursing school clinical rotations? Or is there something I'm doing wrong? I have healthcare/medical records/administrative experience basically and clinical experience only from nursing school clinicals.

I have applied numerous times for nursing assistant positions at a nearby hospital and Patient Care Assistant positions, Technical Partner positions and Clinic Assistant positions but no luck. I apply to home caregiver positions and to home caregiving companies and receive calls but would really like to get a job at a hospital?

Any ideas about other types of jobs available for out there for a needy, soon-to-be Nursing graduate living in San Diego, CA?
