This has only been here for 2 weeks, and this is the list I came up with. From SNF/Subacute for 4 years to this.

CM Pros: Flexible, friendly coworkers, Quarterly BONUSES!:coollook: 8-5 NO HOLIDAYS/weekends/overtime/doubles/crazy schedules, new opportunities, less risky than the floor (ie. highly acute patients and limited supplies, families trying to sue.) Significantly higher pay than working the floor, hour lunches & 2 15min breaks. not having to rush threw your 30 min break..

CM Cons: Same routine, on phone/comp most of the day, cubicle job, at times I think I miss being able to work 2 16hr shifts & be done for the week, the weekends fly by.

I will agree with that..weekends go by too fast. I miss working three day shifts. It's nice to work from home. Great when your kid is sick. One thing I discovered is the better you are, the more cases get transferred to you. I'm two years in and despite the perks am considering a floor job again with an increase in pay and decrease in number of days per week. Also there's some nursing involved but most days I feel like a complaint desk.
