I have an interview with a county jail in a week & I was wondering what to wear to the interview. I have a dress suit but I thought that might be too dressed up for the jail. I have interviewed (& got the position for a jail nurse job) in scrubs before. So which outfit should I wear, dress suit or scrubs?

We have no issue with people showing up in scrubs. We understand that people may be going to or coming from work when they interview with us. The ones who have shown up dressed like they were going on a fishing trip, different story.
If you're going from home and work that day isn't a concern, wear the suit.

Theres no such thing as being "too dressed" for a job interview for a jail. My teacher always told me that a suit shows respect for the job. A suit means your there to take care of business and your serious about it. If you really want the job then be safe: wear a suit.

Always dress up for an interview
I did, thank you. But what they didn't post on the information about the job was that it was a rotating schedule. They were kinda cold to begin with & once they heard I couldn't work nights (I have epilepsy) they acted like I was wasting THEIR time. :/ Oh well.
