I guess the DON called me today from a LTC facility and asked if I was still interested in a position as a CNA and I told them of course. Asked if I could come today at 10 am and it was currently 9:40 am. So I said no, not today since the time is very short notice. Well she said, Mon around 10 am and I said thats sounds great. She never told me where and I cant remember the name of the facility. I have applied to lots of jobs and don't remember which one I sent a resume to. So what do I do. Call back, she never said her name, she was super quick to hang up and not give me no information about anything. If this is how she is with new prospective workers, I can imagine how she is to her employers. Should I consider this job or just forget about it.

If you do really want the job you could just call back, most places greet you with something along the lines of XYZ Nursing Facility, Jill speaking... so that way you know what facilty your interview is being held. If they dont answer like that you could always just asked them what facility they are.
Maybe she was simply busy and that was why she hung up so quickly? You could always go to the interview and see how it goes, and if she appears to be the same way in person make your decision from there.
Thanks for the reply. I called back the number she called from and I found out it was a skilled nursing facility for LTC. The lady who answered chuckled when I told her that the person who gave me an interview, didn't tell me the address and apologize and said the DON was very busy this morning.
I will go to the interview so we will see. I dont have certification of nursing assistant yet, so hopefully I get the job before I take the test. Now lets pray to god I pass, lol!

Best of luck on Monday. Be confident. Trust your instincts. I always knew when I walked in the door of a prospective employer if I would take the job or not. THe way the staff acted, the surroundings...I just knew. Remember, she called you, she read your resume and is taking the time to talk to you. Go in there and knock their shoes off.
